Restaurant ordering

DishPatch

QR and WhatsApp ordering for restaurants, running from the table to the supplier invoice.

One order, followed all the way to what the restaurant pays its supplier.

  1. OrderScan the table or message on WhatsApp.
  2. KitchenAck starts the prep timer.
  3. ServeThe guest sees each dish as it is done.
  4. BillOne tap to ask, settled at the till.
  5. InvoiceSupplier invoices photographed or dropped in a folder.
  6. StockCosted to the ingredient. Reordering is next.

Guests order

From the table or from a phone, with nothing to install.

  • QR table orderingGuests scan the table code, browse by section or search, build a cart and send it to the kitchen.
  • Menu that follows the restaurant's pricesAn item or price changed once updates the guest menu automatically.
  • Sizes, add-ons and notesSize pickers, required or optional toppings, a note for the kitchen, and 'goes well with' suggestions.
  • Drink and dessert reminderA gentle prompt before the order is sent. Guests can skip it.
  • Live order trackerA countdown, a tick for each dish as the chef finishes it, and 'Your order is ready'.
  • Request the billOne tap. The request appears on the staff board with a sound alert, and repeat taps collapse into one.
  • WhatsApp orderingGuests order by message. Each order becomes a kitchen ticket with a confirmation reply.
  • Pay at the counterSettlement stays at the till, as it does today.
  • Card and online paymentsPayment from the phone, including local QR payment.

Kitchen and floor

Every order lands on the screens the team already uses.

  • Kitchen screen with chef acknowledgeThe chef taps Ack and each dish's prep timer starts. Late orders are flagged.
  • Strike dishes offChefs mark items done. Progress shows on the POS and on the guest's phone.
  • Staff boardBill requests, new and overdue orders in one list, with a sound alert.
  • Touch-screen POSRoom and table picker, one-tap takeaway, a 'Popular' quick row from the last 30 days, and a warning when a table has been occupied too long.
  • Cashier PIN and lock tillEach cashier signs in with a PIN and locks the till when stepping away.
  • Delivery-app ordersOrders from delivery apps arrive on the same kitchen screen, with duplicate protection.

Back office

The part of a restaurant nobody photographs.

  • Supplier invoice scanningInvoices dropped in a shared folder are read automatically, one draft purchase invoice per page. Staff review and approve; nothing posts on its own.
  • Invoice by WhatsApp photoThe purchaser photographs an invoice and sends it. A draft appears and a confirmation comes back. Approved senders only.
  • Line-item costingEach invoice line is matched to the ingredient it buys. Anything uncertain is flagged for a person instead of guessed.
  • Recipes and stock levelsIngredient lists per dish and low-stock flags, ready to switch on as real stock counts are recorded.
  • Automatic supplier orderingWhen an ingredient runs low, DishPatch drafts the order and sends it to the supplier for approval.

Safe to run

Built so a busy Saturday does not become an incident.

  • Locked down by defaultTable codes can be rotated and reprinted, sessions are short-lived, and repeat or abusive requests are limited.
  • Backups and self-healingNightly backups with an encrypted off-site copy, and a watchdog that restarts anything unhealthy.
  • Data stays at the outletEach restaurant runs its own isolated system. Nothing is shared between outlets.
Marketing automation

MarketForce

Marketing that runs itself, with a person signing off every post.

Plan, publish, reply and measure. The team only approves.

Plan

A full week of content, drafted before the week starts.

  • Monday planEvery Monday, eight drafts built from live campaigns, booked functions and the current menu.
  • English and Sinhala draftsEach caption in both languages. A native speaker checks the Sinhala before it goes out.
  • Always the current pricePosts read today's menu price, so a stale price never reaches the public.
  • Real photographs onlyBranded templates are built around the restaurant's own photos. Food images are never generated.

Publish

Nothing goes live until a person says so.

  • Approval on a phoneDrafts arrive as a message. One tap approves, edits or rejects.
  • Branded posts, on scheduleApproved posts are laid out in the restaurant's brand templates and published to Facebook and Instagram.
  • Print-ready leafletsA5 leaflets with a code and a WhatsApp QR for each delivery zone, set up for the press.
  • Local search routineA ten-minute weekly checklist and ready captions for the restaurant's Google Business Profile.

Engage

Replies and campaigns that stay in the restaurant's voice.

  • Comment and message triageEnquiries and bookings get a drafted reply for approval. Complaints go straight to a person, never to a bot.
  • WhatsApp and email campaignsSegments such as lapsed diners, function hosts at their anniversary, and standing coffee orders. Opted-in customers only.
  • Review requestsA single message a few hours after a visit, never more than once in 90 days.

Prove

Evidence of which channel actually filled the tables.

  • A code for every channelFacebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and each leaflet zone get their own coupon code, redeemed at the till.
  • Monday numbersOne email with six figures: redemptions by code, revenue per code, cost per redemption, function enquiries by source, standing orders, and the Google rating.
  • Built for Sri Lankan data lawConsent wording, retention periods and deletion on request, shaped around the Personal Data Protection Act.
Better together

DishPatch and MarketForce share one picture of the restaurant.

  • Prices are set once in DishPatch. Every MarketForce post and every sign reads the same number.
  • A coupon typed at the till is the measurement. There is no guessing which post brought the table.
  • Orders and invoices stay with DishPatch. MarketForce sees only what it needs to plan, send and report.
  • One system per outlet, set up once, with MarketForce switched on as a licensed module.
Signage

LED Signs

Outdoor LED signs that read from the road and are changed from a phone.

Supply and install
Sample message board. Size, pixel spacing and cabinet are chosen per site.
  • Site survey and designThe frontage is measured, sight lines from the road are checked, and the sign is designed to the site.
  • Full-colour outdoor screens and illuminated signsSized and shaped to the building, with a cabinet built for outdoor use.
  • Readable in daylight, easy at nightBrightness follows the light, so the sign is clear at noon and does not glare after dark.
